The Glee Project: The Final 14

Yes it’s back. And it’s different.

This year is — in many ways — far more interesting than last year. It’s possible last year’s process showed people that they really were looking for some kind of diversity, and it shows. I didn’t look and see who made it before I watched the casting special. Once I’ve seen this, then I can.

1. The moment when they realise someone who lives in a wheelchair is better at doing that than an actor who walks. Duh.

2. DID Nikki Anders JUST ASK THE AUTISTIC GUY (Charlie Who Ryan Loved)TO MAKE BETTER EYE CONTACT performing in front of a crowd?

3. Zach is a fucking hero.

I’m not sure if watching The Glee Project helps my perspective on Glee or just increases my out and out awe that anything good happens on Glee at all.

OH GOD WHAT IS IT WITH AMERICAN REALITY TV AND CRYING?

I love when Ryan Murphy arrives and tells the whole team that they’re wrong.

I love the girl who spoke about tampons and being Muslim.

That is all.

I find it interesting that Ryan Murphy has a hard time with limits. On the last season, there was supposed to be one winner; there where 2 (and 2 consolation prizes). This season there was supposed to be a final 12 and it ended up being a final 14.

The fourteen are an neat group of young adults. A couple of voices I don’t particularly care for, but then I don’t really like that slightly pinched tone that is really popular now.

I’m looking forward to getting to know them all better and being equally as frustrated as I was all last season.

Max Camp had me at “yeah baby” in the video, just like Damian did with the wink in his last year. It will be interesting to see if my gut is as accurate as last year. I’m looking forward to seeing how it will all play out.

i like Abraham and charlie,and i was so confused by Niki’s comment to charlie i was why you are asking him to look up?hadn’t you read his background? i loved when Ryan stopped him and said you are in,he is the most interesting one.
and as a Muslim i can say that girl’s story is 100% accurate.
