I’m not sure what I want to say about The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell. It’s a good book, yes. It is a surprisingly feminist book, that too.
I did not expect the love stories.
“Then let me melt.”
I did not expect to be moved near tears.
I really did not expect passages in the book that would become tempting future tattoo ideas.
The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell is a children’s book aimed at 8-12 year olds, according to the author, Chris Colfer, the openly gay actor/singer/screenwriter who plays the iconic Kurt Hummel on TV’s Glee.
