I Ship Rachel

I’m just going to get this out there. Yes, Rachel is annoying, but I still love her. (Let’s ignore the fact that I own some of those sweaters and am probably annoying in exactly the same way). And she has come a very long way since the beginning of the show. And the one thing that is becoming very very clear is that Quinn is right (and Mercedes in Silly Love Songs). Rachel’s better just being with herself.

Finn — lovely and all, and I feel a strange allegiance because the actor’s Canadian — is weak. He backs down from the chance to be strong at every available opportunity. He’s at once all high-and-mighty about his girlfriends cheating on him, but then he has no qualms about trying to steer one of them away from her current boyfriend. He doesn’t have the self-discipline of Sam, who seems to be able to make decisions and stick to them.

I liked Rachel with Jesse St James. They worked together, even with the dubious circumstances surrounding the relationship, but really, since that ship sank, there hasn’t been a good enough vessel for Ms. Berry★.

It would be interesting if the producers introduced someone, but, really, I think maybe Rachel needs to be the single girl for a while.
